My MG3 Car Blog

I've given in to peer pressure and changed some of the decals on the back of my MG3 - there are too many non Doctor Who fans out there not knowing what the crack in time is so I have removed the large one I had, replaced it with a smaller one and added a couple more decals as well. The Trust Me I'm The Doctor decal from David Tennant's era of Doctor Who has been removed and then replaced as it was too far around the side previously. My partner has 5 (crazy) dogs so I had to pay homage to them: Back in the 1980's there were so many bumper stickers saying "My Other Car Is A Porsche" so the next one I had to create with a parody of that! My Other Car Is Another Car That Has A Sticker On It That Says My Other Car Is This Car!

Getting Warm So Sunshade Time

There have been a few times when (due to the random heatwaves we get in the UK) that my steering wheel has been too hot to handle on my journey home so today I decided to treat myself to a Windscreen Sunshade. Normally £10 at Halfords but it's in the Sale (apparently) so just £7 right now. I went for the Click and Collect option and grabbed it on my way home from my local Halfords. Just need some more hot sunny weather so I can try it out!!

Black and Decker 12V Car Vacuum Dustbuster

I've been cleaning/washing the outside of my car each week since I got it but not done much on the inside so time to give this bad boy a try! I've used an 18V cordless version of this at work and it's been very reliable so I know the Black and Decker Dustbuster Flexi Auto should perform well. It's not as powerful as using my household vacuum cleaner (a trusty Numatic Henry vacuum) but then it's not supposed to be! It's for sucking up all the crumbs, bits of dirt and dust on the floor and upholstery and it does that well. As with most modern vacuums, there is no bag to empty/replace so you simply open it up and empty the contents in to a bin.
